Eddie Bauer Workers Lose Class Status in Security-Check Suit (1)

Eddie Bauer workers in California who claim they’re owned wages for security inspections required at the end of their shift won’t be able to proceed as a class, a federal judge in San Francisco said.

New evidence, including an expert study, indicates that there are no common questions or answers across the class, Judge Beth Labson Freeman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said Jan. 10.
