Denver IT Company Ordered to Reinstate Employee, Pay Back Wages

Denver-based 303 Technologies Inc. was ordered to reinstate an executive who raised concerns about company tax practices and pay more than $81,000 in back wages and 24.5% stock ownership in the company to the employee, the Labor Department said Wednesday.

The company allegedly retaliated against an employee who raised concerns about it not paying trust fund taxes to the IRS in violation of the Taxpayer First Act, a Labor Department whistleblower investigation found.

The company and the former employee can file objections or request a hearing with the Office of Administrative Law Judges within 30 days of receiving the order. ...
