Democratic Attorneys General Urge DOL to Nix Religious Proposal

Democratic attorneys general from 17 states and the District of Columbia urged the Labor Department to withdraw a controversial proposal on religious defenses that government contractors can use when hit with bias allegations.

The public comment period on the Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs proposed rule closed Sept. 16.
