Dartmouth Reaches $14 Million Pact in Student Harassment Case

A group of current and former Dartmouth College students have settled for $14 million a class lawsuit alleging the school turned a blind eye to decades of sexual assault and harassment by three predatory professors, according to court filings and the parties.

Lawyers for the proposed class of up to 40 women and counsel for Dartmouth’s board of trustees notified the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire of the “agreement-in-principle.” Judge Landya B.
