Dartmouth $14 Million Student Assault Settlement Gets First OK

Dartmouth College’s proposed $14 million class action settlement with a group of female students alleging sexual assault and harassment by three professors was preliminarily approved by the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

The settlement reached by Kristina Rapuano and eight other women on behalf of themselves and more than 80 other current and former female students and teaching and research assistants is likely fair, reasonable, and adequate, Judge Landya B.
