Dad’s Reporting Gay Bias Toward Co-Worker Son Spurs Firing Trial

A former quality control manager at a Tennessee construction site has direct evidence he was fired in retaliation for reporting that his son, a sheet metal helper, was subjected to anti-gay slurs and touching, a Nashville federal judge ruled.

According to Michael Young, Justin Wisor called him into his office the same day Young reported the harassment to human resources. Wisor and Young both worked for Bernhard MCC LLC, a subcontractor on a construction project in Clarksville, Tenn., with Wisor serving as senior project manager.
