D.C. Corrections Supervisors Get Whistleblower Suit Revived

There’s enough evidence for a jury to decide if four D.C. Department of Corrections managers were fired for objecting to unlawful retaliation against their coworkers who filed a sexual orientation discrimination lawsuit, a D.C. court said.

Deon Jones and Andra Parker sued the DOC claiming discrimination based on their sexual orientation. After that lawsuit settled, they allegedly faced a wave of retaliation including undesirable work assignments and homophobic slurs.
