Companies that work with the federal government can agree to voluntarily submit “enterprise-wide” compliance data to the Labor Department in exchange for a stay on random audits, as long as the terms of the agreement are met, according to a Feb. 13 Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs directive.
The directive, referred to as the “Voluntary Enterprise-wide Review Program,” will be open to contractors by the beginning of fiscal year 2020.
The agency didn’t respond to a request for a comment.
