Civil Rights Official to Employers: Cut In on Policy Cases (2)

A top official at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Aug. 1 that employers in the future should intervene in cases in which regulations that might affect their business are being deliberated in the courts.

“There is a lot of policy that gets made these days in federal court,” EEOC Commissioner Victoria Lipnic said during the National Industry Liaison Group conference in Milwaukee. “You cannot take for granted any case that gets filed in any regulatory matter.”
