Civil Rights Agencies Still Must Revamp Processes, Watchdog Says

The Labor Department and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission have yet to implement the majority of U.S. Government Accountability Office recommendations it issued in 2016 and 2017, the congressional watchdog found in a Sept. 19 report.

The DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs has implemented four of GAO’s 11 recommendations over its 2016 and 2017 reports to the agency, and the EEOC hasn’t implemented its one recommendation from a 2017 report.
