Case: Discrimination/Sexual Orientation (S.D. Fla.)

A federal district court in Florida granted the city of Pembroke Pines’ motion for summary judgment on claims of sexual orientation and religious discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Florida Civil Rights Act of a gay, Jewish detective who was transferred back to his former position as a road patrol officer and subsequently denied a transfer to a detective position after a series of performance issues.
