An Ohio federal district court granted in part and denied in part, Bonded Filter Company, LLC’s motion for summary judgment on a female employee’s claims for gender discrimination, retaliation, and breach of contract alleging her supervisor interfered with her job responsibilities and replaced her with a male employee. The court determined a jury could reasonably find the company’s legitimate, nondiscriminatory reason for her termination—her poor sales performance—was pretextual because the employer denied her sales opportunities and training given to male employees, and it disregarded her actual sales record.
