A male police officer for the Philadelphia Housing Authority may not proceed with his claim that he was fired because of his sex, rather than for violating the authority’s policy which prohibited unjustified vehicular pursuits. He didn’t show that he was treated less favorably than female officers because his alleged comparators either didn’t engage in as serious of an offense or resigned before an investigation into their alleged violation commenced. The case is Jerome v. Phila. Hous. Auth., 2020 BL 10689, E.D. Pa., No. 19-272, 1/13/20.
