A patient access insurance specialist for a hospital billing contractor isn’t entitled to a trial on her claim that she was denied a reasonable accommodation for her gastrointestinal conditions, which necessitated frequent bathroom breaks, when the contractor refused to drop the productivity requirement for her position or to transfer her to another job, a federal court in Indiana ruled.
