CAA Sports Hit With Arbitration Suit by Fired Agent

A former pro sports agent with CAA Sports LLC asked a federal court April 8 to compel arbitration to oversee a final audit of monies he says are owed following his termination in 2014.

Ben Dogra, who was under contract to oversee CAA’s football division beginning in 2011, says he is due millions of dollars in revenues after an arbitrator ruled in 2016 the Los Angeles-based talent agency fired him without cause.

Dogra, of St. Louis, had received a base annual salary of $3.6 million along with a guaranteed bonus of $900,000, according to arbitrator M. David Vaughn’s decision.
