BWXT Beats Nuclear Plant Worker’s ‘Pill Popper’ Bias Claims

A former BWXT crane operator at the U.S. Navy’s nuclear reactor facility in Idaho failed to show his prescription medication use spurred illegal harassment or other disability discrimination, a federal judge in that state ruled.

David Garton said two BWXT Technical Services Group Inc. co-workers repeatedly referred to him as a “pill popper” after learning he was taking medication following a third-party medical exam.
