House lawmakers aim to bring home billions more in earmarked funds in fiscal 2023 appropriations bill than the previous year, as lawmakers warm up to the newly revived spending process.
The House’s appropriations bills released this month include 4,386 earmarks totaling more than $8.2 billion, according to lists published by the House Appropriations Committee.
