A Jackson, Miss., strip club must pay five black dancers a total of $3.3 million for race discrimination, a federal jury decided.
The verdict entered May 16 by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi is a big win for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The federal job rights enforcement agency brought the suit against Danny’s Restaurant LLC and related entities on behalf of the dancers.
