A group of California-based bank and call-center employees will pursue their wage and missed-break claims against Bank of America as two separate classes, a California federal court ruled.
Judge Laurel Beeler of the U.S. District Court for North District of California granted the joint class-certification motion Dec. 3.
The court divided the classes based on their claims, not their job titles, and said the evidence showed that Bank of America subjected all class members to the same conduct.
