Anti-Union Group Credits Community Pitch
For UAW Defeat at Volkswagen Auto Plant

The executive director of Center for Worker Freedom, a nonprofit group that campaigned against the United Auto Workers during its failed bid to represent workers at a Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tenn., told an audience at the Heritage Foundation March 17 that the group’s publicly displayed campaign messages may have contributed to UAW’s defeat.
