Anheuser-Busch Loses Battle in Pension Lawsuit

Former employees of an Anheuser-Busch Cos. subsidiary won a victory July 8 in their class action accusing the company of underpaying pension benefits (Knowlton v. Anheuser-Busch Cos., 2015 BL 217610, E.D. Mo., 4-13-cv-00210, 7/8/15).

A federal judge in Missouri found that the former employees of Busch Entertainment Corp. were “involuntarily terminated”—and therefore likely entitled to higher pension benefits—when their employer was sold off in 2009.
