Amazon, Worker Fired Following Covid-19 Safety Reports End Suit

Amazon.com Inc. and a New Jersey-based learning ambassador who alleged that he was fired for reporting a shift manager’s repeated disregard of company- and state-required Covid-19 protocols, including social distancing and mask requirements, have agreed to drop the suit, federal court records show.

David Bailey and the company filed a stipulation of dismissal with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey Tuesday. The dismissal covers the entire case and is “with prejudice and without costs or attorneys’ fees to either party,” the filing said.
