Amazon Worker Drops Proposed Class Suit Over Health Notices

A former Amazon Corp. LLC employee who sued the company over its health coverage notices is voluntarily dropping his proposed class action, according to court papers filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ex-Amazon worker Jaymes Ousely sued the company in March, claiming it sends legally deficient and “threatening” notices informing former workers about their right to remain on the company’s health plan. On Monday, Ousely filed paperwork voluntarily ending the suit.
