Amazon should be held liable for wage and overtime claims by delivery drivers who claim the company acts as their joint employer, a new complaint in the Western District of Washington alleges.

The lawsuit filed by Brady Edmonds, a delivery driver employed by an Amazon-contracted delivery services provider, is the latest to argue the Seattle-based online retailer should be liable for overtime and minimum wage violations. The company has been the subject of litigation over joint employment for the work it contracts out, including cases in Florida, California and North Carolina.
