Edelman Financial Engines LLC has, at least temporarily, stopped two former employees from soliciting and taking away its customers.
Erik Harpsoe and Brian K. Fowles will also have to return any documents they took from the financial-planning giant and pay $100,000 as security, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas said Jan. 25.
It granted the company a 14-day temporary restraining order.
The company filed the suit Jan. 17, the same day the men resigned and announced their new company.
