Aviation Software Exec Looted Trademarks, Copyrights, Suit Says

The president and CEO of JFLY LLC, which makes digital logbooks for pilots, accused another board member of registering the company’s trademarks and copyrights in his own name and profiting off them.

The lawsuit by JFLY founder Maximilian Fox claims Michael Julius II, another LLC member, violated a section of the company’s operating agreement that explicitly requires intellectual property to be registered in its name. The suit was filed Sept. 4 in Delaware Chancery Court.
