The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the first case of human-to-human transmission of the coronavirus in the U.S., after a woman who traveled to China and had already been diagnosed infected her husband. The man is in stable condition and is being closely monitored, the CDC said on a call.

The CDC said the virus is not spreading widely and the risk to the U.S. public remains low.
