U.S. Airlines Agree to Collect Passenger Data for Virus Tracing

Major U.S. carriers will collect personal information on a voluntary basis from passengers flying into the U.S. as part of stepped-up efforts to trace people who may have been exposed to Covid-19, the Airlines for America trade group says.

  • Name, two phone numbers, email address and a physical address for where traveler will be staying or resides will be collected and transmitted to the Centers for Disease Control
