Athletes Sue W. Michigan University Over Vaccine Mandate (1)

Western Michigan University was hit with a challenge to its requirement that students be vaccinated against Covid-19 to play on the women’s soccer team by four players on athletic scholarships who allege the requirement violates their religious beliefs.

The plaintiffs—Emily Dahl, Hannah Redoute, Bailey Korhorn and Morgan Otteson—applied for religious exemptions from the vaccine requirement, but were denied. , according to the suit filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
