Hospitals to Get More Relief Funds By End of Week, Verma Says

A second round of coronavirus relief funds for hospitals and health-care providers will go out by the end of this week, CMS Administrator Seema Verma tells reporters in a call.

• The funds have been contentious because the initial set of $30 billion did not go to areas with the most Covid-19 cases
  • The second round will have a specific portion set aside for those hot spots, says Verma
