Enterprise’s Settlement of Covid-19 Layoff Suit Gets First OK

A settlement among Enterprise Holdings Inc., an Orlando-based subsidiary, and 964 employees laid off during the initial outbreak of Covid-19, allegedly without the notice required by federal law, is “fair, reasonable, and adequate” and preliminarily approved, the Middle District of Florida ruled.

A hearing on final approval of the $175,000 pact is set for April 20, the court said Tuesday in a subsequent filing.
