Eastern Airlines LLC must face its former revenue management director’s lawsuit alleging she was denied leave and permission to work from home after her 11-year-old son’s school closed in the earlier days of the Covid-19 pandemic, a federal judge in Philadelphia ruled.

Single mother Stephanie Jones initially worked remotely after her son’s school closed, but management soon asked her to return to the office, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.
