Uber Steers New Jersey Drivers Into Arbitration

New Jersey Uber drivers who allege they were misclassified as independent contractors and denied overtime pay must pursue their claims in individual arbitrations rather than a class action, a federal district court ruled Jan. 30 (Singh v. Uber Techs. Inc., 2017 BL 26292, D.N.J., No. 16-3044 (FLW), 1/30/17).
