Storing Worker’s Fingerprint Could Be Biometric Privacy Breach

A senior living center and the company that supplied its electronic fingerprint scanners may be liable for failing to follow the disclosure and record-keeping requirements of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, a federal district court in the state ruled.
