Size Matters in Pret A Manger Slack-fill Suit

Pret A Manger sandwich wraps have less wrap and more packaging than certain consumers would like to see (Lau v. Pret A Manger (USA) Ltd., S.D.N.Y., No. 17-cv-05775, complaint filed 7/31/17).

Yee Ting Lau filed a class action suit July 31 alleging the slack-fill in Pret A Manger’s sandwich packaging is excessive and misleading to customers. Opaque wrapping makes it impossible for consumers to see empty space in the packaging, Lau says.
