Robocall Claims Against Cannabis Dispensary Survive Dismissal

A New England-based cannabis dispensary’s attempt to discredit claims that it advertised to consumers on the National Do Not Call Registry failed in federal court in Massachusetts.

Judge Timothy S. Hillman denied Temescal Wellness LLC’s motion to dismiss the class action complaint in an order Monday, saying the nature of the text messages showed they were intended to sell the dispensary’s products.
