Overstock Beats Investors’ Renewed Digital Dividend Allegations

Overstock.com is free of accusations of misleading investors about its financial projections and scheming to issue a digital dividend to the detriment of short sellers after a federal judge in Utah threw out the case Monday.

The investor complaint against the online retailer rehashed several allegations the court already rejected once, and new allegations from confidential witnesses aren’t enough to support other portions of the complaint, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah said.
