Ohio’s top cop is suing to stop a bellwether trial between local government and the opioid industry that could set the tone for a national settlement in the billions of dollars.
On Aug. 30 Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost (R) filed a petition in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit seeking to block the Oct. 21 “track one” trial in the massive opioid multi-district litigation centered in Cleveland.
