NCAA Sports Concussion Suits Piling Up

Five more class action complaints allege the NCAA, colleges and athletic conferences didn’t adequately protect former student football players from the long-term effects of concussions.

The new filings in federal court bring to 15 the total number of would-be class actions recently filed by ex-college players, each of whom seek financial compensation for brain injuries incurred during their playing days 17 CLASS 624, 6/24/16, 44 PSLR 623, 6/20/16.
