N.Y. Jets Season Ticket Personal Seat Licenses Not ‘Valueless’

A football fan who purchased a personal seat license so he could buy season tickets to New York Jets games at MetLife Stadium lost his proposed class action over the $8,000 fee, the Third Circuit ruled.

The only way James Gengo could get his tickets was to buy the license, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit’s unpublished opinion said. But fans no longer have to buy a license to get season tickets, it said.
