Junior Mints buyers don’t get as much of the very refreshing candy as the box makes them think, a new proposed class suit alleges (Daniel v. Tootsie Roll Industries, LLC, S.D.N.Y., No. 17-7541, complaint 10/3/17).
Manufacturer Tootsie Roll Industries, LLC produces the 3.5-ounce box with 43 percent empty space, according to the Oct. 3 complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
