Google, YouTube Hit With LGBTQ Discrimination Suit (1)

Google LLC and subsidiary YouTube LLC were hit with a proposed class action alleging the online video platform discriminates against the LGBTQ community.

YouTube has illegally restricted protected LGBTQ content while allowing homophobic and racist comments posted on the pages and channels of the LGBTQ plaintiffs and other LGBTQ content creators, according to the complaint filed Aug. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
