Goldman Sachs Investors Ask Court Not to Stay CDO Class Approval

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. investors told the Second Circuit there’s no reason to stay their securities class suit while the investment bank pursues a U.S. Supreme Court appeal.

The investors, who accused Goldman of misleading them about conflicts of interest related to certain collateralized debt obligation transactions, won affirmation of class certification at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in April. After the bank lost its bid for rehearing June 15, it asked the appellate court to put the suit on hold while it sought additional review.
