Football Players Press Fraud Claims Against Defunct League

Former players of the now-defunct Alliance of American Football were duped into joining the league and are owed unpaid wages and damages as a result, a new class complaint alleges.

Named plaintiff Colton Schmidt filed the breach of contract and fraud case against AAF, Ebersol Sports Media Group Inc., and other defendants April 10 in California Superior Court, San Francisco County.
