College $1.25 Million Covid Tuition Refund Deal Gets First Nod

Southern New Hampshire University’s $1.25 million class settlement in a suit seeking refunds after in-person classes were canceled last spring because of the Covid-19 pandemic won a federal court’s initial approval.

The U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire Monday certified a settlement class of more than 2,800 current and former SNHU students who paid for in-person educational services, and whose tuition and fees haven’t been refunded.
