American Airlines, Pilots Get OK to Seek Defense Department Data

American Airlines Group Inc. and a class of pilots suing for paid military leave convinced a Pennsylvania federal judge to sign off on a subpoena seeking pay data from the Department of Defense.

Judge Harvey Bartle III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Tuesday granted the parties’ request for a subpoena seeking records showing each pilot’s branch and period of military service and the compensation they received for that service.
