Working remotely during the coronavirus pandemic could be an eye-opener for law firms slow to embrace telework in the past as attorneys turn to tools like Zoom, Slack and LiveLitigation.

Accelerate Change: The swift, virus-driven move away from an office setting could accelerate tech development, and change functions like deposing witnesses and participating in hearings.

‘New Reality’: “Hosting multi-party video conferences, securely handling and transferring client data files, and working paperless and remote all from a laptop or possibly even an iPad has become the new reality,” says Cadwalader partner Joseph Moreno.
