White & Case said it advised London-based private equity firm Triton Partners on the acquisition—by funds affiliated with Triton—of ACRE, the parent of companies involved in access control and intrusion detection.
Troutman Pepper represented Las Vegas-based ACRE in the transaction.
ACRE’s previous majority owner, Philadelphia-based LLR Partners, which bought its stake in 2013, is leaving the business, according to a statement. No financial terms were disclosed. LLR Partners didn’t immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.
ACRE’s family of companies, including Vanderbilt, Open Options, RS2 Technologies, ComNet, and RazberiSoftware, help secure high-value assets of public and private customers, the statement says.
“We look forward to actively supporting the management and employees of ACRE as a stable owner by investing in the growth and development of the company,” said Peder Prahl, managing partner and CEO of Triton.
