Weatherford Welcomes New Top Lawyer After Predecessor’s Ouster

Weatherford International plc named Scott Weatherholt general counsel and chief compliance officer, a month after parting ways with its former legal chief.

Weatherholt succeeds Christina Ibrahim, who left Weatherford in June after five years at the Switzerland-based oil and gas giant, which also announced the departure of former CEO Mark McCollum. Weatherford filed for bankruptcy in July 2019 and exited Chapter 11 late last year.
