Ticketmaster, LiveNation, Stubhub Beat MLB Conspiracy Claims

Ticketmaster LLC, Live Nation Entertainment Inc., and Stubhub Inc. defeated claims that they conspired with Major League Baseball to refuse refunds for games canceled due to Covid-19, after the Central District of California found no facts to support the allegations.

The court dismissed claims against the ticket sellers by “non-purchasing plaintiffs"—those who bought their tickets directly from the MLB or MLB teams.

The plaintiffs alleged the ticket sellers engaged in a conspiracy with the MLB to decline to refund their tickets.
